About the Building Built in 1929, this stately building is located at 75 Federal Street and sports a ziggurat top and some magnificent bronzework. Note the dramatically stepped-back roof life banded with florally inspired designs and gilded hipped roof penthouse. Bronze relief panels by New York sculptor Paul Fjelde surround the building, depicting Agriculture, Mining, Manufacturing, Power, Finance and Transportation scenes. The central entry features fluted pilasters and heroic figures in bas relief.
